The ideal candidate for this video internship should be highly adaptable, have a diverse skill set in video production and design, and possess experience in video editing and effects. We're looking for a patient and diligent team player who can effectively collaborate with remote team members, as Daybreaker operates in 30 cities worldwide and is rapidly expanding. Additionally, you should be hardworking, willing to assist with various tasks, and not hesitant to get your hands dirty.
This is a part-time or full-time position reporting directly to the Daybreaker leaders. You will work closely with a creative, energetic, and tightly-knit team at our office in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, NYC (subject to COVID guidelines).
Requirements:
- Proficiency in video editing platforms such as Premiere, After Effects, etc., to create event recaps and promotional videos using archive footage
- Experience in camera work and multi-setups (live stream experience is a plus)
- Personal laptop
- Local NYC metro area residence is mandatory
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
- A compassionate mindset, a clear vision, and a genuine passion for surprising and delighting people
